Curlew Student Trust has achieved a five star rating for its 2022 GRESB Standing Investments Benchmark Report with a score of 89 and a Peer Comparison of 2nd amongst the Student Housing Non-Listed sector.
The ESG breakdown was:
· Environmental: 56 out of 62 (GRESB average 40)
· Social: 17 out of 18 (GRESB average 16)
· Governance: 16 out of 20 (GRESB average 18)
Further improvement is planned over the next three years through a number of initiatives including a PV panel retrofit programme, phasing out gas, water re-use and recycling , plus a site-level health and wellbeing plan.
Curlew’s Director of Sustainability, Greg Akoka, said “We have achieved good progress this year by further integrating sustainability into our investment process and operations. Our 2022 scores
and our A rated TCFD alignment report show we are on the right track to meet our 2030 targets”
