Benedict's Gate shortlisted for Halls of Residence of the Year Award

St Benedict’s Gate, Norwich, one of Curlew’s new PBSA buildings has been shortlisted for the Property Week Halls of Residence of the Year Award.

The building was completed in Q1 2021 and was 100% let in its first term, providing 302 en-suite and studio beds on the edge of the city centre and very close to the main university campuses. Curlew forward-funded the scheme with specialist student accommodation developer, Alumno Group and its talented design team.

The development has also won the biennial Norwich Design and Craftsmanship Award in the non-residential category. This award was launched in 2019 to celebrate outstanding buildings and places in Norfolk. The judging criteria particularly look at aspects of design, craftsmanship, sustainability and community.
