Curlew shortlisted for PW Investor award.

Curlew Capital has been shortlisted again for the Investor of the Year award at the 2021 Property Week Student Accommodation Awards.

During what has been a very successful year, Curlew completed and mobilised four forward fundings and one direct development in the UK, delivering 1,850 beds in Sheffield, Leeds, Norwich, Coventry & Brighton.

We also successfully mobilised two fully-let co-living ‘young urbans’ schemes in the Netherlands, raised two debt packages totalling £93 million from LLoyds and Barclays banks and closed two of the only forward fundings in the market in 2020, delivering a further 312 PBSA units at schemes in Bath and Bermondsey. In addition the company achieved two significant planning consents in Exeter and London against a tough UK planning backdrop, with two further planning consents expected by the current year end.
